Artist Creates Meticulous Illustrations Of Legendary Pokémon

Legendary Pokemons have never looked so better.

The world is obsessed with pokemon. And for good reason. From the anime to the games, pokemon is everywhere. And let’s not even talk about the smash-hit game Pokemon Go that caused many accidents around the world. I personally love pokemon myself but wouldn’t call myself a hardcore fan.

However, from the little I do know about Pokemon, I am aware that Legendary pokemon are the strongest and the rarest around. And they almost always look absolutely majestic. And while many artist have redrawn these pokemon in their own style, Kerby just has his own style that leaves everyone awestruck.

He packs as much detail in a small section of his artwork that most artists do on the whole page. Don’t believe me? You can see for yourself by scrolling below.

#1 Ho-oh.

It looks like a nice sketch but is nothing compared to the final product.

Philippines-based illustrator Kerby Rosanes works mainly with ordinary black pens to magically illustrate his “doodle” world.

#2 Mew.

Even the original pokemon artists could not have done this.

#3 Lugia.

Most of his works are characterized by whimsical lines, patterns, characters, and little elements that are spontaneously combined to create massive compositions depicting his everyday experiences or anything that inspires him.

#4 Xerneas.

Each and every one of his paintings pop out from the page.

#5 Rayquaza.

It really is amazing how he can achieve this with a simple pen and paper.

He recently left his job as a graphic designer in a local company to finally pursue his passion: creating more art for personal projects and for various clients and collaborating with other artists and design agencies around the world.

#6 Raikou.

Not a Pokémon fan, but still, this is really awesome.

The amount of detail is incredible. This is real art. –spawnmk

He has also done all the pokemon’s complete justice in my opinion
